  15. Check the size of the file name.  If it is longer than 40 characters, it
  16. will only show up in dir utils and workbench as the first 40.  This includes
  17. c:dir.  Do a c:list from a shell and see if the filename is longer (list will
  18. show the entire filename).  Filenames that are too long "won't" work with
  19. wildcards because the system can't access them that way (it will assume no
  20. file is longer than 40 characters).  You have to do a delete with the complete
  21. filename.
